Where Contrasts Collide, Something New Emerges

Contrast inspires my work. The collision of cultures, time, and materials — old and new, soft and hard, technology and handcraft, slow and fast, constantly challenge my perception of the world. These contrasts come together to create something that feels both unfamiliar and strangely familiar. My work is a way of making sense of the layers of experience that shape us, and of expressing emotions that are often difficult to put into words.
